CONCEPT OF HYBRID-CREATION
The goal of the hybrid project was to create new vase shapes from my specific collection. I started by always crossing two models of the collection randomly, taking the most noticeable features. The shapes from this first crossing were then mixed again with the same procedure.
With this method I created six different non-existing vase-shapes. These objects are stacked with the features of their ancestors, but still new shapes on their own. I built the digital models of the results by crafting the hybrids along the silhouette of the mix with the open source program blender.

The give in to brainrot videos distill books into no more than 37 seconds of snackable, bite-sized brainrot content.

This shift towards consuming fragmented, repetitive information fails to cultivate genuine understanding. Yet, in a world where time is money and knowledge is treated as a commodity, the rot feels inevitable.
